2 Apples - Chopped
1/2 Lemon - Juiced
1/2 Cup Oats
3 Tablespoons Butter - Cold and Diced
3 Tablespoons Coconut or Brown Sugar
1/4 Cup Golden Raisins
1/4 Cup Raw Almonds - Chopped
1/4 Cup Water
1 Tablespoons Melted Cinnamon Honey or 1 Tablespoon Honey and 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Add the chopped apples to an oiled 7 Cup, round baking dish and squeeze juice from 1/2 a lemon over them. Sprinkle the golden raisins over the chopped apples, then pour the water, vanilla and melted honey over the apples and golden raisins. In a separate bowl combine the oats, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg, cut in the cold, diced butter. Spoon the dry mixture over the top of the apples evenly and then sprinkle the chopped almonds on top. Bake at 350 for 35 to 40 minutes and serve the Baked Apple Crisp warm.
