1 Cup Flaxseed Meal
1 Cup Cheddar Cheese - Shredded
1 Cup Water
2-3 Tablespoons Jalapenos - Diced
1 teaspoon Chia Seeds
1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon Chili Powder*
1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon Paprika*
1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon Cumin*
1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon Sea Salt*
* All these are optional. You can add less or more of your own favorite spices.
In addition, you can easily use a different type of cheese, nix the jalapenos and change these chips up completely. Parmesan herb sounds like another winner. These chips are so easy, healthy, versatile and filling, I love them!
Mix all ingredients together and spread thinly over a cookie sheet lined with oiled parchment paper. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 375 for 35 to 40 minutes, rotating half way through. The longer the Flaxseed Chips are baked, the more crispy and brown they become. Remove the pan from the oven and let it completely cool. Once cooled, break into pieces and store chips in an air tight container.
