Ingredients:
2 Tablespoons Pumpkin Puree
2 Shots Espresso - Or more if you want a double or triple latte
2 Tablespoons Honey - Cinnamon Honey if you have it, works deliciously in this :)
2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
2 Cups Any Milk
1/2 teaspoon Pumpkin Pie Spice
Directions: Make your shots of espresso and divide them into two mugs. Heat the pumpkin puree in a sauce pan over medium/low heat or in the microwave, until it is softened and seems cooked. Mix in the honey, vanilla and pumpkin pie spice to the cooked pumpkin puree and heat the mixture until it becomes thick and bubbly. In a separate container heat the milk either on the stove or in the microwave until it is hot but not boiling. If you're heating the milk in the microwave make sure that there is steam coming up from the milk but that it is not boiling over. Check the milk every 30 seconds or so for 4 to 6 intervals. Mix the steamed milk and the pumpkin mixture together and pour it over the hot espresso, dividing between the two the mugs. Sprinkle a little more pumpkin pie spice on the top of the latte for add yumminess and serve hot. |
