Although plain Kombucha by itself is delicious, sometimes it's fun to change it up by experimenting with different flavors. The trick is to stick with the ratio of 10-20% flavoring to 80-90% plain Kombucha, so as not to take away from the Kombucha's original taste. Do this by first adding the flavor to the bottle, then pouring the plain Kombucha on over it and lastly sealing the bottle with a tight fitting, non-metallic lid. Be sure to store the flavored Kombucha at room temperature for 1 to 3 days before putting it into the refrigerator. During the 1 to 3 days at room temperature, it's a good idea to 'Burp' the flavored Kombucha to make sure it does not get too carbonated and explode. After the flavored Kombucha is cold from refrigeration, it's ready to enjoy.
