Birthday Week can take a lot out of a person, this mid week detox green juice is just the cure. However, be warned this is a very 'Green' drink, not for the faint of heart. It's kind of like drinking a salad, but oh so good for you :)
Ingredients:
3 Oranges
Juice from 1 Lemon
1 Inch Peeled Ginger
1 Cup Spinach
3 Stalks Kale
1/2 Cup Cilantro
1 teaspoon Spirulina Powder
1 teaspoon Chlorella Powder
3 Cups Coconut Water

Directions:
Peel oranges and slice into wedges, peel fresh ginger and juice the lemon. Add these ingredients and one cup of the coconut water to a large, strong blender. Add both teaspoons of Spirulina and Chlorella, another cup of coconut water and blend again. Add spinach, kale leaves (not the stem), washed cilantro, the last cup of coconut water, and blend until fully combined. Chances are there will still be some fine leafy green chunks floating around in the juice, but that's all part of the fun. Store in a jar with a tight fitting lid, so that you can shake up it up again before pouring yourself a cold glass of seriously healthy green juice.
