Ingredients:
1 Apple - Finely Chopped and Toasted
1 Cup Walnuts - Finely Chopped
1/2 Cup Almonds - Chopped
1/2 Cup All-Bran Cereal
1/2 Cup Oats
2 Scoops Vanilla Whey Protein Powder
1/3 Cup Applesauce
2 Tablespoons Maple Syrup
1 Tablespoon Butter - Melted
1 teaspoon Cinnamon

Directions:
Chop an apple into small pieces and scatter them onto a baking sheet lined with foil. Bake at 400 for 10 - 15 minutes, until the apple pieces are dry and barely beginning to brown. Meanwhile, mix oats, bran cereal, cinnamon and vanilla protein powder, in a large bowl. Add the toasted apple chunks, chopped walnuts and almonds to the bowl with the dry mixture. In a small bowl, combine applesauce, vanilla extract and melted butter, then pour the mixture into the large bowl with the dry ingredients/fruit/nuts mixture. Lastly, add the maple syrup and fully combine.

Bake bars at 350 for 15 minutes in an 8 x 8 pan lined with parchment paper. Once bars are finished baking, let them cool for at least 15 minutes and then cut into desired sized bars. Store in an airtight container, at room temperature, and enjoy for up to a week or freeze bars wrapped in wax paper, in a zip lock freezer bag for later.
